The Home Support Worker Pilot is open to new applications

You can still apply under the new 2022 cap for the Home Support Worker Pilot. In 2022, IRCC will accept up to 2,750 applications for this pilot.

The Home Child Care Provider Pilot is closed to new applications

As of Monday, January 17, 2022, IRCC received at least 2,750 applications under this pilot. This means

• the pilot is closed to new applications for 2022
• IRCC will return any other applications they receive and refund the fees.

The pilot will reopen to new applications on January 1, 2023.

Only the Family Support Worker Pilot Program is still available and those who want to apply for PR through this program need to submit their applications as soon as possible. Just in case the program reaches its cap and stops accepting new applications like the Family Child Care Home pilot, then you will have to wait another year.
